If i open an account with $10k and execute 10 trades in a day on futures, will my account be flagged as PDT and receive a minimum equity call to meet $25k balance rule?

Do PDT rule also apply to non-us citizens? Or it is irrelevant where they are from and as long as they use a FINRA broker it is an obligation to meet $25k balance if they want to execute many trades(>10 etc.) in the same day?

kukrek - Exchange-Traded Futures do not have the same rules or limitations as the FINRA brokers.

With Exchange-Traded Futures, as long as your account balance is greater than the required Day Trade Margin, it will accept the order.
There is NO requirement to have $25K account balance to day trade Exchange-Traded Futures.
For example, if your account is $100 USD - you can daytrade 4 contracts of the micro the M2K since the it is only $25 per contract for day trade margin

There are no limits to the # of trades you can place in a day or a year....it is purely up to you when and how many trades you execute.

We offer the same margins for all our customers - US-based and non-US based.

        Welcome to Futures!
