  • CQG data different in MT5 and TradingView, future contracts missing

    Dear Ladies an Gentlemen,

I am a new AMP Customer and have questions regarding the CQG datastream I booked (CBOT). I’m glad if you could help me with my 3 following questions.
I’m using Metatrader 5 and used TradingView for comparison below because some data seems missing in MT5. My goal is to only use MT5.

    1. In MT5 I’m only seeing the next expiring future contract
While in Tradingview I see all/more contracts. In MT5 however I can only see old and the current expiring contracts, colored blue in the screenshot (they show up even if “show expired contracts” is unchecked).

Comparison between the available contracts in MT5 and Tradingview in the screenshot below.
Question: How can I get all the future contracts showing up in MT5?

    2. Provided Data of in MT5 and TradingView is different
The datastream in Tradingview starts much further back than in MT5. This leads to problems when using an indicator which is calculated using longer periods in the past.

Comparison of Data provided in MT5 and TradingView:
    - MT5: 2020 October 19th for ZSEK21
    - TradingView: 2018 November 14th for ZSK2021 (with zero volume until 2019 April 23rd but it’s showing the prices - that would be perfect for me). Colored blue would be the Data which is shown in MT5.

    3. Historical Data
Is there a possibility to show more of the datastreams you provide with the @-signs? I don’t need a high resolution, OHLC on daily would be excellent. As I could read in the forums (https://forum.ampfutures.com/forum/f...luded-with-cqg) CGQ includes 3 years of 1D data. How can I access this data in MT5? Is it just the old contracts, when no @-datastream is available?

    Thank you very much.

    Regards
    Matthias
